Subject: Air cart for planter.

Has anyone ever used an air cart to put seed into a box planter? My thoughts would be to buy a double shoot air cart and use one tank for seed corn and the other for dry starter. We currently use liquid for 2x2 and pop up but could probably save 10-20k per year with dry. I love the center fill idea but the center weight is a no go for us. A 1900 cart could be had reasonably and work well. What I am struggling with is how to replace the meter with an air lock for the seed just have never taken one appart. We currently have a 3800 kinze set up just how I like it and I don't want a new planter or the expense of tracks and ASD, It only has 6k acres on it. We dairy so time is always an issue in the spring and 200 acres a day is a good day we haul our own poo so that gets the people. Would like to get it up to 300. Am I nuts? I have some extremely good mechanics and a plasma table so setup is not an issue.
