Subject: Upgrading from EZ Steer & EZ500 in 4710 Sprayer

West Tennessee
We now have seen the light of auto steering. After running our EZ Guide 500 and EZ steer in the 4710 for two years now. We really like it just all the sawing on the wheel that the EZ Steer does gets annoying. It doesn't do so well on our rough ground either. When it crosses a terrace or deep dip it's constantly doing a lot of unnecessary adjustments. Would like to know what the next upgrade would be? We also run an EZ Boom on this for boom control. I realize hydraulic steering would be nice but I've heard what those valves cost ($4k) and that's going to be out of our price range. Any thoughts are appreciated. I don't know what the new AgLeader systems involve especially when it comes to boom control in this older sprayer. Setting up the EZ Boom was as simple as getting a harness and plugging it in for the most part and it's worked flawlessly.
