NE ND
So, currently own a 1050 (zillions of miles, been rebuilt and rebuilt, becoming super high maintenance), lightly used 56' 1060 (use it 50% of the time), and a newer 50.5' 2210.

I am not really happy with the 2210. Simply too heavy IMO. We've had some soft fields this spring. You can roll in there with the 1050 or 1060 and slide right over everything, the tractor pulls easily, still cultivate nice, etc. The 2210 pulls hard, the mainframe sinks in the first soft spot it finds, and when it sinks or pulls hard the tractor tracks start to show up behind as the tires were on the edge of spinning/slipping. Lots of things I like on the 2210, but lots of things I don't like.

We don't have many issues with heavy trash. Have gotten by fine with 1050s and 1060s for 30 years.

Thinking about selling the 2210. What Deere models exist after the 1060? 985, 960, anymore? Is the 960 just up to 44.5 ft? Ideally would like 50-60'. The biggest negative of the 1060 is the raise height. Just sucks working on shovels when it only raises say 10". If I can find another lightly used 1060 I might go that route. Just hate to go old, but if it works well, why not.
