Subject: Killing volunteer corn in a corn field

Central New York
Have a bad volunteer corn issue on a few acres, it was a woods we cleared off last spring, so planting back corn due to roots etc, it is also on a very steep side hill so do not want to cultivate...
Sprayed 30 GPA on 32%N today as a preemarge the volunteer corn it was about a 1" tall, the planted corn isn't out of the ground yet..
Will Just the liquid N Ag that high of rate sprayer with flat fan nozzles kill the sprouted corn?
