Subject: Those with experience on planter goof 1 row didn't close well...

Mechanic and I forgot to put the T handle on a John Deere 1770 planter back to put pressure on closing wheels. So closing wheels basically bouncing freely on that row. Now a small hole every once in a while in that row where it didn't close. Haven't seen any seeds showing in the spots I have checked. Rest of the row (the large majority) closed but didn't really pack. Corn on soybeans stubble. One row on 24 row planter for 350 acres. So 1/24th of that is 14.5 acres total. Last night and today having a light rain 0.40" so far. Was thinking about rigging up a simple drag for just that row to put in front of side by side UTV and driving it so the tire packed behind that drag but is that even necessary?
