Subject: Hydraulic motor plumbing

Have a Kinze (actually Crary) bulk fill fan on a planter I bought last year. The hydraulic motor that was on it ended up leaking at the end of the year and was next to impossible to find. No problem....Kinze's replacement for it is a eaton motor

The question I have is the planter came to me with hooking up the hydraulic motor to the outlet but the return oil didn't go back through the scv but dumped in the "case drain." I am using a Challenger MT665B on the planter. In plumbing up the new motor they have ports for oil coming to the motor and return but they also have a 3rd port for case drain. Should I just hook it up how the old one was and run the return through the case drain or do I hook up the supply and return through the remote and then use the case drain port on the motor for the case drain?
