Subject: 30' Jet grain trailer on tandem tractor

On Jet's website it lists their 30' trailer as having an offset hopper to transfer more weight to the trailer tandems when being used with a single axle tractor.

Does that create problems with getting enough weight on the drivers of a tandem tractor?   What about getting around in less than ideal conditions?

From looking at the measurements on Jet's website and looking at the Iowa DOT regs it would appear that the interior bridge would allow 60,500 and the ext would be 73,500

I'm assuming that it wouldn't be possible to get that much weight on the steer axle so what kind of legal load is possible with a tandem tractor?
