South-central Nebraska | Later this fall I will be ripping hard areas in fields where cart traffic and trucks get parked during harvest. What is the recommended Load Depth setting for the 3 point when using a mounted ripper? Settings are Off and 1 to 5. I have been setting it to 1 for a hard pulling 3pt implement. I do not have slip sensitivity on this tractor.
On these very hard areas the ripper will sometimes squat the tires and bog down and pull deeper. | |
