western iowa | Shouldn't an inside 80 or 160 be nearly square? We have a few that are within a few rows of being square when using the auto steer. On another field we rent the one side is square but the other is square at the back, but off 40' at the front. Haven't farmed it very long. There's a marker post at the back but nothing at the front to aim at. I wonder if it's always been this way or if it changed over time? It occurred to me I could go back and look at old aerial photos and see if I can tell any differences. I would use auto steer and make an AB along the crooked side if I had anything at all to use as a guide. If I owned it I would have it resurveyed. Any ideas?
