Subject: Scouting milo for sugarcane aphids. Where did they go?

Hazelton, Kansas 6.75 miles N of Crowbar
Been watching a couple of fields of milo that are now at hard dough. A week ago there was a few isolated spots that had a lot of honeydew and thousands of aphids. Ordered the Transform and tried to finish up spraying beans. Weather didn't cooperate, then rained a couple of inches. Scouting to day to see if the field was dry enough and noticed very little honeydew. Some places with honeydew I couldn't find any aphids. Only 1 leaf out of hundreds I tipped back had a large colony. Found 1 adult ladybug and just a few larva. Anyone else have this happen? Or am I just blind? Dirt
