Subject: Cover crop with a sprayer???

East central Indiana
We are looking to do some cover crops this year. We are kicking around different application ideas. It's not cheap to have them flown on or coop do it and we don't have a hi clearance spreader. And because of the way we are setup (I.e. No dryer one combine 4500 acs corn and soybeans) planting them in the fall will be useless for the most part. We'd like to put in corn as it starts to mature and in beans as the leaves start changing . Has anyone ever done this with a sprayer? And if so, 1) what crip did you plant 2) how did you get it mixed up 3) what kinda nozzles and 4) what kinda rate were you using?? TIA Scott
