| My Daughter is headed off to college. She and a roommate both have laptop computers and she has a HP printer to use. It hooks up via a USB cable, and is not wireless or network capable by itself. We had it in our house, but we have a desktop that stays on 24/7 and acts as a server so we could always access the printer through it.
How can I set it up for them at school without having to keep one of the laptops running with a network? Is there an USB hub that the printer can hook to and then each computer could plug in when they were in the room and wanted to print? Any simple ways to set up a network so they can access it with wireless communications?
