Subject: Soil test help

Northern IL
A little back ground, we have been using grid soil samples for many years, and been happy with results. Lime recs have been based mainly off of PH, and we have been applying lime pretty regular and seen a positive response over the past 20 years or so. I have been reading on here about base saturations and thought I would ask for some advice on a particular farm that we tested this spring and VRT spread this fall.

This farm is mostly clay soil, and quite hilly. PI around 110. We have been no till on this farm the last few years with good luck, corn has been consistently over 200 and beans in the 60's. Based on what I have seen here, we need to try and bring base sat CA up towards 65-70%?? Is this even possible on a farm like this? How would we go about moving the base saturations this far and is it economical to do so?

Thanks in advance
