Subject: Taking calves out of creep feed?

What's the drawbacks and what will happen? Started creep feeding earlier this year due to poor grass due to drought and I'm getting close to empty and it will be a few weeks yet before weaning. They're eating a lot but will be going to a fall grazing pasture/corn stalks pretty quick here. I currently really don't have the time to be constantly filling feeders with short daylight hours as it is, so just wondering if I will have a wreck or not. Personally, I think the calves are kinda chubby and they're over consuming.

So yes or no, could I do it, or stay the course and keep creeping them to avoid a potential problem?
