Subject: Chopping corn head and no-till

Hospers Iowa
Was wondering how a chopping head works with no-till? The guys that do my custom combing (also no-till some) are looking into a head like this but are wondering how it works? It seems some people like them while some don't. I am thinking it will leave a wet mat on the ground as I have always tried to leave the stalks as tall as possible. I use a drill and plant twin rows and they use a 15" split planter. Any thoughts and comments welcome.

Thanks John
