Owings, Maryland 38.6856 N 76.6752 W | Upcoming work project involves boring a bunch of 5" diameter holes in 1 1/2" bearing covers under a draw bridge. Due to the remote location and access problems or lack of access to the components I proposed to bore the openings and install the inspection covers in place. So everyone needed to see the tool work to be performed and today was the day. Looks like it passed the test and the procedure is approved.
I will include a couple of pics showing the new mega mag drill sporting it's new 5" broach. Lots of power with variable speed and reverse as well. Ran thru 1" plate in roughly 7 minutes, I was impressed, but of course I don't get out much either. Not extremely exciting but thought I would share none the less.........Joe
