O.K., this deals with the over 40 to me , @ 50. I think I asked this several years ago, but now I think I am serious about it. The NearVision CK (Conductive Keratoplasty) proceedure for us people that cannot read the fine print in front of them. As I understand it, they will "adjust" my left eye ( the non-dominate) And use radio waves to heat the outside perimeter of my eye covering, in like 8 dots around the circumference(sp) This will shrink the lens like seran(sp) wrap Supposed to be very safe compared to laser and knife, if they still use that :>) Newguy, Brian. I think you might get me with payback:>) Have not decided yet, but will have the "contact lens test soon" Anybody else gone thru this, hopefully with good results. And I hope the warnings are just, very rare. But I am sure you can scare the heck out of me! Thanks Brian |
