N FLA | I try not to get backyard-itis. Been a good average wet summer here. Consequently doesn't seem to be many cows through the market. I keep a record of bred cow sales, and we've been seeing 4-5 bred cows each week. Maybe 20-30 open cows. Florida lost market reports in the last sequester or recession or something.
Anyway, Wayne's thread got me looking at other states. Georgia 8000 head sold, 12000 same week last year. Alabama 12000 head, 17000 last year. That's obviously all cattle including calves..
Just curious if cow sales are virtually slowed to nothing in your neighborhood?
