Subject: 790 NH chopper problems

SW Minnesota
I bought a 790 NH chopper, tried to use it in haylage & had 2 problems with it, the hay head which is a 770w the auger clutch slips with hardly anything in it, I tightned up the 3 bolts that put pressure on the disk as tight as I dare go, took it apart & the metal disk are smooth as glass, is this the way they are suppose to be or are they worn down that much?? Second problem was with the electric clutch, seems if I got much in the rollers it would stop, feels like it is slipping, dealer said that they very seldom have problems with that & to make sure I have 12 volts there, I had it plugged into the monitor plug in the cab of the 7130 magnum, suppose I'd be better off going straite to the battery, didn't have time to try working on it too much as the hay was getting to dry so we pulled the old chopper out of the trees. Any help would be appreciated.
