Yorkville, TN | Wear your Seatbelts, especially operating a Dozer or Trackhoe! Yesterday was not such a great day for me, I've had a mini-excavator rented for a week to bury some long pipe runs for silt basins and other odd jobs. One last job yesterday, going to drain some wet spots with ditches we didn't want to put the big hoe in. Thought I would pull up some willow trees while I was at it. Swung to the side went to pull up a small tree that was apparently well-rooted and the machine rocked forward pretty hard and my face hit he front corner post. Broken nose, 7 stitches, and all day pent at the e.r.
I even had my seatbelt on but didn't have it at all tightened.. I knew better but got in a hurry and it got me.
