Back round.

I purchased a 1979 Can-Am 400 cc bike with out a title. It passed Nebr. test for wheels, lights, ect.  I did not have proof that it was not brought into the US illegally from Canada, where it was made.  I did not have an EPA sticker on the bike showing that it meets those qualification.

Because the bike was 300 cc or more I was able to get a Vermont registration and plate.  Nebr. will recognize Vermont's DMV.  I was able to get a title, first time the bike had a title, plate and registration. 

Wow.  All for $89.

Now I am legal to go to town for ice cream in the summer. lol.
