| I got some fall heifer pairs that have some 3 month old calves on them. the problem is that some of the heifers are getting thin and need to put some weight back on. I'm currently feeding them free choice prairie hay, protein tub, and 2.5 pounds of corn a day. I've thought about increasing their corn but I'm afraid that all they will do is put out more milk instead of putting weight back on. soooo my question is what do I feed them to out some weight back on them? | |
