| I'm not a livestock person but we have pasture that we rent out. We maintain the fence. Today while opening gates to rake hay I noticed a couple calves getting thru an area of fence so I went to inspect. I would've never guessed those calves (born in spring - I can't guess weight - 400# maybe) could have gotten thru. So my question is this - on a 5 wire barb wire fence what should the spacing be between wires and above the ground? Sorry but I'm just very inexperienced with livestock. | |
