S.W. Mn. | Well, I got a kidney stone , had a stint put in, thought I would try some alternative medicine to dissolve it, receive letter from urologist who did the initial procedure ,the stint has to come out or it too can calcify and cause problems. Lithotripsy is recommended ( shock waves to bust it into pieces) , doing a little research there seems to be two types of procedures, one in a water tub, other on the bench. I have spoken to several people who have had some tough side effects with the bench type, bruising internally, etc., so what are the experiences of NAT folks in this area?
Tried to just plain ask a couple of specialists if they do the tub procedure, and in all cases they refused to answer, couldn't get past the receptionist, of course a "consultation" is advised( office call)....... just a simple question.. yes or no would work... at this point I'm am quite frustrated at the medical profession, especially as I'm on Medicare, anything to "work " the system, sorry, think I just stepped into a rant. Best regards to all. | |
