Subject: Prepaying and Booking Propane for this winter

East Central Arkansas

After last year what are most of you doing for this winter. I have all ways liked to at least have all tanks full come late summer are early fall. The last few years I have been booking most of what I would need through the winter if not all. As of right now and as far as I know it has been all summer, the company I have been using wants more for filling now than for gas booked and paid for to be delivered at a later date. I do know that one of the reasons for their pricing, will be that they were able to deliver gas last winter and didn't gouge near as bad as some of the other companies did. I don't own my own propane tanks and I do have several tanks that belong to this company. I am interested in hearing from you AR and MO folks especially those that deal with the big propane and oil coop out of MO. I am not a real high gallon user nor am I currently using propane for irrigation or grain drying. I do have the option of using some propane for irrigation.
