Storming in our area right now. Just heard where winds were "clocked" at 60 mph. What is used to "clock" winds?
Had a trooper stop me once, said he "clocked" me at 66 mph and had me on radar at 66 mph. I should have asked him how he "clocked" me. It was dark out.
