& that's a good thing!!! 


After about 25 or 30 years, the old Shop-Vac motor started to make some weird noises when I was using it & it smelled a bit like smoke. I figured that it was no sense in trying to overhaul it, it served me well. It was a lot smaller than this 1, with just a painted steel canister & not stainless steel like the new 1. Good timing too, I guess, Canadian Tire had this 1 on sale for $100 off their regular price. 45.5 litres (12 US gallons) & 6.5 HP! I wonder how they rate those HP??? I mean, this thing's pretty light & the motor is pretty small to say a regular 5 HP eclectic motor that you might have on the farm???
