The house on Lake Whitney in Texas that is dangling off the bluff was just set on fire. Different options were considered. One source said they believe the owners paid $50,000 to a demolition company to handle the job of burning it down.
The homeowners will have to pay for the removal of the debris that has already fallen into the lake.
The house was built in 2007.
I've spent a lot of time on property real close to where the house is located. It's usually very quiet out there. Lots of deer usually roam across that gated community and the neighboring ranches.
Looks like as I type, more of the structure is falling into the lake, some of it is on fire.

They decided to burn the house down.
