| How much shade is needed for 100 head of 600-800 pound cattle. Thinking of putting some poles in the ground and running cables in between the post. 80'x15' with the orange snow fence across the cables. The angle I was thinking of using is 15' poles on east and 10' on west to shade as long as possible through the day. Is this overkill or how much shade is needed? this is for an open pen that has no other shade I am open to any suggestions on how to improve this idea. Just trying to make cheap shade.
