53590 | I have about 10 acres of woods behind my buildings. Not really dense with trees so there is a quite a bit of grass. I used to mow it but I am thinking of fencing it and pasturing it. I have availability to either holstein or jersey feeders. Local butcher shop is always trying to find grass raised beef. My questions are How well would they actually finish out on grass? Would jerseys graze better? The way I see it even if they don't finish out real heavy I don't have much into them!!! Any input/experiences is greatly appreciated. | |
