I thought the heifers were going to drag out this year but last night the last 2 calved! Great feeling to have those out of the way, and also get more sleep at night instead of checking the girls every 3-4 hrs.  Cows will start calving in a couple weeks.  Didnt have perfect luck with the young girls this year, mostly weather induced, but I have always been told "If you cant afford to lose some, you cant afford to have them".  Good luck everyone with their calving season, its always nice to get a group out of the way.
