Subject: Innoculant on beans (again...more...)

North Central IN
Been reading, wanted to get some Midwest guys opinions on inoculating beans.

CRP ground, hasn't been tilled or planted to anything but grass for 30-35 years. Rolling clay with some low spots I think will be dark dirt, and minimal tile I'm sure. We purchased the farm a few years ago, have been waiting for CRP to expire. Planning on soybeans this spring.

Know I need to inoculate with something because there hasn't been any legumes on it for a long time. My seed dealer, Becks, offers Optimize and Poncho/Votivo for $5.50/unit. Is this going to be enough? Or do I need to buy other inoculants? Double? What brands? I have Kinze planter with brush meters, so I think that rules out the liquid forms.

As well as thoughts on my other ground for inoculant? Similar soils, just never have done it before, usually raise 45-55 bushel beans.
