Subject: How to keep cattle out of H bunk?

West Central Indiana
We have a 135' long H bunk and still can't figure a way to keep the cattle from walking all over/in it. This leads to them defecating in it, leading to a lot of scooping bunks out. We have a post on each end and have ran barb wire down the middle of it, but without having posts along the way it's impossible to get it tight enough to stay tight, and they get in the bunk and quickly stretch it out to the point that it becomes useless. There's hotwire fence 300' away, but its pretty impractical to get it to the bunk to try that instead of barb. Any ideas? Cattle from 500# to 1250# all do it. The bunks have 6"legs.
