Subject: All the talk of bale feeding and the ways of doing it

Central Kansas

Here are some pictures from processing millet hay this morning. I feed 2 5x6 round bales that weigh around 1600# to 150 fall calving cows every morning. I use a Highline CFR650 without fine chop. The last are pictures of what is left from yesterday's feeding. Tomorrow I think I will unroll the bales with my bale bed and then follow up with the pictures of the leftover the next day.
