Subject: Chinese buy Nidera Grain Company


Southeast Iowa
The Chinese gov't bought a 51% share of Nidera Grain who is a big worldwide trader of Ag commodities. They own some former Continental Grain facilities in America, but are a Dutch based company with an America subsidiary based in Connecticut. They have one of the big Chicago terminals that regularly makes and takes delivery of futures contracts on the CBOT in corn, soybeans, wheat and oats.


This was in my inbox from Bunge this morning. Interesting.....
