Eastern Iowa | We are putting steel on our barn. We want to put doors with X's on the outside on the barn to make it look nice. Has anyone built their own? Looking for ideas on how to build them or where to buy them so that they are covered in steel, have a barn red background with white X's on the outside. I believe they are called "Dutch doors". So far we have considered covering them with ridged red steel and then putting plastic composite boards on the outside to make the X's. However, this would have gaps behind the white boards and I am not sure they won't get "wavy" if the sun is on them. Any thoughts? | |
