Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow | I was curious about your question myself since I need to begin thinking about forward sales. Here is a chart with the last few years' monthly cash prices from the USDA database. I thought that there would be more month to month volatility.
I would be really interested if someone who has access to the Dec futures prices for the months preceding each year's Dec price. It would be interesting to see if there is any seasonality to that.
