Subject: When/how to tissue test wheat?

Mid-Missouri
I would like to know more about tissue testing our wheat. We grow SRWW. Right now it is under a foot of snow with frozen ground. The reason for this is I want to know more about what the wheat is deficient in so I can give it every opportunity to make more grain. Typically we do ammonia nitrate at green-up with a spinnner and then top-dress with 28%/stream bars around flag leaf but this year I would like to do both trips with 28%, as the spray boom is more accurate.

When and how do I do tissue testing? Who do you recommend sending the sample to? I have Phil Needhams newer book which goes into some detail about this and interpreting the analysis buy any other help is greatly appreciated.
