East Central Illinois. 39.346676, -87.653484 | Looking to upgrade to an aluminum trailer, ran across a small (16') 4-star gooseneck relatively close to home and reasonably priced. It won't get much heavy use: dozen stragglers every turn of finishing barns (2.7 times/year), 2-10 4-H pigs to fair once/year, 3-5 trips to locker with 4-10 head.
Are there any glaring weaknesses with the 4-star brand?
Staying with gooseneck to keep anyone with a receiver hitch from borrowing it, and the 16' length would be more manuverable around my 1970's layout.
