Subject: Long term look at our grains

Buxton ND
I put together a long term look at spec monies trading grains off weekly CFTC #'s
Total spec longs/futures only/corn/beans and soft wheat over the last year +.

11-30-12 510k Peak for the year/marketing year/calender year.
12-7-12 447k
4-2-13 275k
7-2-13 182k
10-1-13 7k
12-3-13 9k
In this same period of time above the DOW has gained a good 3000 points
Beans are the bright spot +160k EVER single week this year net long.
Corn weak spot -99k 26 week of a net long positions.
Wheat weak spot -52k Has spent only 3 week net long.
#'s just above are from 12-3-13

If you look at the spring planting delay months/UGLY winter wheat conditions,,,the spec money simply did not care if it was planting late or not at all..... We need some new big "news" to change the minds of the spec traders and the investment money that invest in grain commodity land.....
In the E boom corn had the sparkle,we seem to have lost this and beans have become the spec traders market of choice.

Can anyone do the same OR post a graph of total positions on the stock market this calendar year to compare money flows of grains to stocks ? ? ?
I have seen graphs like this in the past, but no clue where to find them,so if someone could find a link and post that would be great ! ! !

There's ALWAYS tomorrow but today's trade was dis-appointing even to me.....
