Subject: still looking into hog finishing contract

Henderson county illinois
We have decided if we do commit to raising hogs on contract it will be for Tri-Oak and we will be putting up 2 2480 unit barns. Met with the Tri-Oak guy today and received a cash flow/contract sheet. Looks like the building is going to be anywhere from 520,000-560,000 by itself. Pays 41 per unit with overstock benefits but my county has an additional pit tax that is going to be an additional 3000 dollars a year so that basically offsets the overstock benefit. We already have 3 phase ran to this location,a well that we can use at this location, and dozers/excavators to do the majority of the dirt work. What should I value the manure at realisticaly since it costs so much to apply? Any of you out there who put finishers up that didn't pencil out close to what you thought it would?
