Subject: Gravo and other concrete wall builders.

Athens, Ga
We are about to start our our settling basin for our new freestall barn. Plans call for it to be 5ft deep 3 walls and ramp on the other side with a divider running down middle . Plans also say to pour floor first with lots of rebar sticking out for wall to attach to. Now the concrete guy keeps complaining that the walls will be a pain to pour because the floor it flat and the ramp is going to cause him problems. I'm trying to tell dad to stick to the plans and make him do it the way engineer designed, he thinking about letting them pour the walls first, then back fill the ramp then pouring floor. I don't know how they will get rebar to connect the two together.

Anyways, how would you pour a wall and contour the floor when It goes flat for a ways then starts up at an angle in the last pic. The forms bolt together and endup flat. So I don't know how to make the angles wall without doing two pours.

Here are some pics of another settling basin that has been done.
