southcentral nebraska | I can't beleive how the the crop conditions changed so quickly , because of the hot dry temps and wind. I watched the neighbors irrigated beans shrivel up yesterday even though his pivot watered them two days ago. If this is going on everywhere there will be at least 10% less grain and maybe worse. The lack of subsoil moisture is obvious now. The grass will be going dorment in a couple days. | |
