Subject: Strip Till Corn

Central IL
I'm thinking about strip tilling some corn next year after beans. My 5300 case ih nh3 bar leaves pretty good strips so I think I can plant on those. Should I put any attachments on my 1240 planter or are the leading disks enough? If I put down a fall herbicide like autumn or princept should my normal chemical program do alright since I will hopefully start out clean? Any other major factors I should watch out for? Currantly all my corn is on "worked" ground. Thanks for the assistance!
