Subject: Soybean Estimate

Does anyone have an accurate formula for estimating bean yield. I usually use a simple count x pop x size divided by bean size and bushel weight. Always gives me a number that ends up being 20-30% higher than reality.
Anyways irrigated beans here will be very good. Dry land beans are dying and will not make 15 bu. without a rain soon and there is none in our ten day forecast.
