I have an established alfalfa field that is lacking in a portion of the field. I’m thinking of inter-planting something into it to boost the tonnage. Any suggestions as to what and how much? The alfalfa is there but I think it is stunted by deer pressure,  because in the rest of the field it is performing well. Soil tests come back the same.  Any suggestions?  I posted this over on crop talk as well but you guys always have good ideas
