arthur , ontario | well an exceptional crop of mixed grain just got flattened in the last storm! second year crop on this field after being in pasture for longer then most can remember? was almost 5' tall, now barely 6" off the ground, was still very green and wet. what should I do, am leaning towards cutting it with a disc mower ,roundbaling, and wrapping? would you say it's a lost cause to expect it to still mature for it's grain and straw? me thinks it will probably start to mold being its on big tangled mess? looking for others experience with this? | |
