south central ill effingham county | Last friday mowed some fescue down, had a 20% chance of rain over the weekend. Well by sunday evening we had about six inches so go figure. The tedder has been gettin a workout this week. Finally got it dry enough yesterday then got just enough rain to mess up, at least we got half of it rolled up. I'm kinda surprised the hay dont smell bad for as long as its been wet, but im sure all of the feed value is gone. Hopin the sun will shine today so we can finish up. I'll just be glad when were done with this mess. |
