| I've been running some numbers on these different sizes of drills and air seeders. On our operation man power is always limited in the planting season. We have been running a 15' box drill but we always seem to struggle to get done in reasonable time. I've been kicking around the idea of a replacement box drill but when looking at pricing it almost makes sense to step up. My question is would 650 acres of planting per yr be enough to justify a 30' jd 1890 air seeder? This machine is in the 70k price range whereas some of these 20' 1590s are over 50k. Just looking for opinions and experiences.
