Eastern Ontario | Anyone else have this happen? I think it's an FMC-150-HYD, not that that matters. The pump is only about 3 years old, was testing the sprayer out with water (thankfully) and was right ready to put it away when it started making grinding sounds and lost pressure. Pulled it apart and sure enough the nut had worked off the shaft and the impeller was just kind of floating in the housing. I'll probably replace the impeller, seal looks good, but I am in this far....oh, and a much better stainless steel locknut!!! That's my rant for this morning...... | |
